For applying a custom domain to your store, proceed to Settings > Branded Checkout.

Currently, Elliot allows two forms of custom domains:

If you want your main domain to send traffic to Elliot, follow these steps:

  1. Add your domain name in the "Domain Name" input (ex. mystore.com)
  2. Check the checkbox, "Host your entire website on Elliot"
  3. Follow the steps for making the appropriate DNS changes for updating your "@" record
  4.  Your "@" record should be pointing to 35.186.236.251
  5. Save your Settings

If you want a sub-domain to send traffic to Elliot, follow these steps:

  1. Add your domain name in the "Domain Name" input (ex. mystore.com)
  2. Define your sub-domain using the "Custom Domain" input (ie. shop.mystore.com, store.mystore.com, or buy.mystore.com)
  3. Save your Settings
  4. Update your domain's DNS with your domain registrar (ie. Google Domains, GoDaddy, etc.)
  5. Add a CNAME record for the "Custom Domain" value you added in Elliot
  6. Point that CNAME to checkout.elliot.store
  7.  Save your DNS settings

Note, in both instances, DNS changes may take up to 24-48 hours to propagate. Once propagation has completed, your Custom Domain, plus SSL, will be applied to your store's Payment Pages, and Storefronts.
